The lesson I think I learned is that never give up something you have to go for a bigger thing because whatever you pick the first time you will end up liking it better. Also to make a connection when I am doing math I always go with my gut on a answer because when I pick my first answer but then change it the first answer I selected would always be write. So I think this fable means is what ever you get the first time don't go back and get something else.
The lesson I think they learned that like kinda when you spread something it comes back and bites you because when the lion went to go do something to the other animal the other animal turned around on the lion so the lion couldn't hurt the other animal.
The lesson I learned from this fable was that never take someone else's stuff that is just laying there because it isn't yours and you shouldn't steel because people will find out eventually.
When I was doing my Holiday homework I learned a few things. First, when I was listening to the heredity part of the homework I learned that every child recieves half of its chromosomes from the mother and half of its chromosomes from the father. Secondly, a Egg Cell and a Sperm Cell are called a zygote when they are put together. Thirdly, there is exactly one of each chromosomes from the father and the mother that goes to the child. Next, when I was listening to the trait part of the homework Ilearned that some traits that your parents or relatives have will be passed down to the child because a trait is passed down from generation to generation. A physical trait that is passed down is the color of your eyes, hair color, how tall you are, etc. Then the behavior that your parents or relatives have will most likely be passed down to you. Such as if a mom dog can do a bunch of tricks then the baby she will have will be able to do those tricks too because they will be trained to the dog as the mom dog has been trained to do those tricks.
My favorite class reflection was when we had to be wolves or other animals and we had to roam around our classroom and find two leaves. If we didnt find two leaves then we died because there was not enough leaves for all the wolves to eat because there was a to big of a population of wolves. Another game was when there were predators and the wolves were the prey and the predator had to try to catch the wolves before all of them got two leaves because if the pedator did not get anything to eat it will die. This was my favorite class reflection becaue it was really fun and I learned a lot from it which made me do good on my test.
#2 current event adding activity to video gamesz fights obesity, study shows science daily (Jan.10,2007) This article is about making video games more active because children are very focused on screen games but they can be made healthier if activity is a required part of the game. By using the dance video game both groups burned the most calories, but it was considerably more for the obese group just over six times more than sitting still. About eight hours a day children watch T.V. or play video games. Researchers suggest that they should investigate it more because of the obesity in the country. This article means a lot to me because i think kids should get exercise and I see a lot of kids watching T.V. or playing video games all the time. I think the researchers are doing a good thing for peoples health and parents will like activities in video games like in the wii because their kids are not just sitting on couches watching T.V. or playing video games for the whole day they are going to be keeping active and getting exercise. So I think the researchers are doing a good thing.
#1 Current Event Dolphins Get A Lift From Delta Wing Technology Sciencedaily (June 28, 2009) This article is about how dolphins and whales swim through the water and how the flippers glide them through the water. The article described its fins similar to the wings on a airplane. The scientists found that the flippers of the bottle nose dolphin are the most efficient swimmers. I thought this article was interesting and a good article for people who love to learn about dolphins and it is a good current event. It was interesting that dolphins fins are similar to the wings on a airplane. I believe that the wings are similar because dolphins need strongs fins to guide through the water and airplanes need strong wings to guide them through the air from the wind and gravity.
